ok so i've been cutting hair out of the same spot for going on 8 years now and i still get that little stomach drop every slow tuesday like maybe this is the week it all falls apart lol never does. but the feeling doesn't care about logic. something about midsummer too — half the regulars are on vacation, walk-ins are unpredictable, and you're just in the chair doing the math in your head between every client. anyone else run their own thing and just... live in that low hum of 'we good? we good?' constantly or is that just me
